Opening in 2025 !

Lumberton Historical Museum

In 2019, a group of Lumberton citizens began exploring the concept of a museum to preserve the history of our community. The committee gathered ideas and started searching for a place for the museum.

In 2023, the City of Lumberton began developing a new Multi-Purpose Center to be built next to City Hall.

In April 2025, the Lumberton Historical Museum signed a lease with the City of Lumberton to rent space in the new building.
